The next edition of Showlight will take place in Granada from 23 to 26 April 2029. Ayrton and SGM will be the headline sponsors and hosts of the twelfth edition of this quadrennial event dedicated to lighting.
Showlight’s organisers explained: Showlight changes location with every edition, and Granada was chosen following an extensive search for suitable destinations. We believe it provides an ideal setting to continue Showlight’s journey after the successful return of Showlight 2025 in Dijon, France.
Granada is an ideal city to explore on foot, with squares surrounded by cafés and streets filled with tapas bars. In short, it offers the kind of location, atmosphere and welcoming environment that best suits Showlight and its attendees.
Showlight takes place once every four years and offers a varied programme of presentations delivered by lighting professionals from different disciplines. However, the event offers much more. The programme is carefully planned to provide numerous networking opportunities and time to socialise between sessions, during dinners, cultural visits and the grand closing dinner on the final evening. Its location is never revealed until that day and never disappoints.
Nowhere else can established lighting designers, industry professionals, manufacturers, students and young professionals meet and exchange ideas in such a relaxed environment. Come for the presentations, stay for the networking opportunities and make new connections.
