For the first time, ISE 2027 will extend part of its programme beyond Fira Gran Via. The 2027 edition will use Fira Montjuïc as a second venue on 3 and 4 February to host Spark, focused on technology and content creation, and EdTech Congress Barcelona, dedicated to the application of technology in educational environments.
The programme at Montjuïc will focus on two areas: content creation and production and technology applied to educational environments. Both events will coincide with the two middle days of ISE.
Spark brings together technology and content production
Spark will be aimed at professionals from broadcast and media, marketing and advertising, gaming, entertainment and live events.
Its programme will be spread across two stages, an exhibition area and activities from participating companies. The content will address the relationship between technological tools and creative processes across different areas of production.
The initiative therefore adds profiles and applications related to content production to the ISE programme, alongside its established areas of audiovisual technology and systems integration.
Educational technology at Fira Montjuïc
EdTech Congress Barcelona will bring together professionals from education, institutions, technology providers and decision-makers in these environments.
Its exhibition area will include Connected Classroom, a space that has been part of ISE since 2025 and is dedicated to showcasing integrated technologies for classrooms and other learning environments.
The solutions presented will focus on the application of audiovisual systems and other digital technologies in education.
Spark and EdTech Congress Barcelona will take place on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 February. Free shuttle buses will operate between Fira Gran Via and Plaça Espanya on both days, connecting the two venues.

AI, cybersecurity, broadcast and live events
At Fira Gran Via, ISE 2027 will retain its exhibition dedicated to audiovisual technology and systems integration, alongside a programme of conferences and professional sessions.
The Megatrends programme will include content on artificial intelligence, robotics and machine learning, smart spaces, sustainability, TradeScape and cybersecurity.
There will also be specialised Summits and a range of sessions, forums and stages. These will include the ISE Enterprise Broadcast Stage and the Live Events Stage, dedicated to broadcast in enterprise environments and technology used in live events, respectively.
ISE 2027 will therefore take place at Fira Gran Via throughout its four days, with additional programming at Fira Montjuïc on 3 and 4 February. The second venue will host Spark and EdTech Congress Barcelona, while Gran Via will retain the exhibition and the rest of the ISE programme.
