The stage adaptation of the cinematic classic Tootsie begins its national tour with a dynamic staging and a comprehensive audiovisual infrastructure supplied by Fluge Audiovisuales, providing the technical solutions required to ensure the show’s consistency as it travels across different theatre venues.
A musical adaptation with a television-style rhythm
Tootsie, the musical sitcom, was first presented in Spain at Barcelona’s Teatre Apolo, where it premiered last autumn. The production adapts the 1982 film into a musical format, delivering a fast-paced comedy in which humour, live music and misunderstandings structure the narrative of the show.

The production embraces a modular staging concept, featuring rapid transitions and a scenic approach inspired by the visual language of a sitcom. The set design, costumes and integration of the live band contribute to a continuous rhythm that requires precise technical coordination between sound, lighting and video to ensure the smooth flow of the performance.
Following its premiere in Barcelona, the production continued its national tour with stops in Jerez and Seville, adapting its technical configuration to the specific characteristics of each theatre.
TRIPLE F MEDIA ENTERTAINMENT, S.L., producer of the musical, has entrusted Fluge Audiovisuales with the comprehensive supply of the show’s sound, lighting and video systems. Fluge provides a complete technical solution aimed at guaranteeing the sonic and visual consistency of the production throughout its run in different venues, optimising coverage, intelligibility and audiovisual synchronisation.

The musical’s sound design is based on Meyer Sound technology, integrating a high-fidelity sound reinforcement system that ensures consistent reproduction and excellent vocal intelligibility in theatre environments with varying acoustic configurations.
The combination of Fluge Audiovisuales’ expertise in technical production and Meyer Sound technology guarantees homogeneous, precise sound performance adaptable to each venue on the tour.
