The 12th Annual Young Musicians Unite Gala brought together more than 700 people at Mana Wynwood to support the organization’s educational programs. The event raised over $1.6 million, a record amount aimed at strengthening the work of the non-profit entity that, since 2013, has supported more than 35,000 students in South Florida.
In this edition, DAS Audio participated as a Gold sponsor, providing the event’s sound with SARA line arrays and subwoofers, EVENT systems for the front fills, and ACTION series point sources.
The design focused on combining power and precision to ensure maximum intelligibility and coverage during the students’ performances, which ranged from classic covers to a percussion finale.

The sound was so clear and powerful that our students sounded amazing. Having DAS Audio on board showed that they believe in our mission. They help us give these kids, right here in their own community, an experience worthy of their talent, said Severina Yotova, CEO of Music Avenue and marketing consultant for Young Musicians Unite.
The commitment to initiatives like YMU is part of its philosophy of supporting the community and fostering the training of new generations of musicians and audiovisual industry professionals. “We believe in what YMU does and we are grateful to be able to contribute to preparing the next generation”, said Michael Rodriguez, Chief Operating and Marketing Officer of DAS Audio of America. “When students step on stage, they must feel supported, respected and heard. If we can contribute even a small grain of sand along that path, we are fully committed”.

Thanks to the funds raised, YMU will expand its programs during the 2025–2026 school year to reach more than 12,000 students in 74 schools across Miami-Dade County. The plan includes providing more instruments, more musical activities in classrooms, and the expansion of the organization’s study program, which offers free access to recording and production tools.
