Guests at ANKERPUNKT, the original Beach Club on the shores of Lake Aldrian in southern Styria, will now not only enjoy the sun but also soak up authentic "Ibiza-style beach vibes" – thanks to the newly installed KV2 precision sound systems.
What started as a modest summer bar on the shores of Lake Aldrian in Tillmitsch, southern Styria, quickly became an absolute attraction in the region: the ANKERPUNKT bar, the vision of Leo Rath, a DJ and house legend in Austria, as well as his wife Manuela. Now open year-round, the Beach Club with its own beach and restaurant places music at the center stage, accompanying guests from day to party nights.
As a DJ myself, perfect sound for our Ankerpunkt is crucial to me. After researching, KV2 sound systems caught my attention. The sound quality of KV2 convinced me, and I knew clearly: this was what I also needed for my Ankerpunkt, declares Leo Rath, who aimed to bring a touch of the Rimini and Ibiza atmosphere to Styria with his club.
The owner turned to the club and events specialist Plusmusic Ibiza, which also managed sound for legendary attractions like the Amnesia Club or Cova Santa in Ibiza.

The end result is truly extraordinary and offers immense sound power: for the main system in the outdoor area, Plusmusic has used two high-quality SL412 cabinets along with eight VHD4.18 Quad 18" subwoofer systems, while a pair of CS12 speakers handle the front coverage.
In the main restaurant interior area, there is a DJ stage, equipped by Plusmusic with a pair of SL412 cabinets and four ES2.6 high-performance active subwoofers. Additional areas of the restaurant impress with a sound setup resulting from a combination of EX6 and EX10 speakers, complemented by EX1.2 subwoofers. Perfect sound delights ANKERPUNKT guests again on the veranda, equipped with no less than 20 CUBE speakers, a compact system that, despite its size, emanates powerful sound. Bass duties are handled by five ESD1.10 powered by five ESP1000 amplifiers. The intense sound accompanies guests on the terrace and spacious green areas: four 3-way ES215 passive speakers with a wide dispersion pattern powered by two ESP1000 amplifiers. The setup is complemented by a pair of EX12 speakers as DJ monitors.

In total, 62 KV2 speakers and several amplifiers adorn the popular party and relaxation venue that, after remodeling in October 2021, could finally open its doors to the public.
