Brompton Technology showcases its innovations for live events and broadcast at LDI 2024

Brompton Technology showcased its latest Tessera solutions at LDI 2024, held from December 8 to 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center – West Hall.

With a special focus on live events and broadcast applications, Brompton highlighted its powerful HDR content capabilities, the new features of the Tessera v3.5 software, such as Extended Bit Depth and Dark Time Insertion, and its revolutionary TrueLight® technology, which redefined the standards for color accuracy.

Brompton’s booth allowed visitors to experience its latest advancements through a demonstration area dedicated to live events and broadcast. Here, comparisons between HDR and SDR content, HDR content with and without Extended Bit Depth, and features such as Dark Magic, Puretone, and Dark Time Insertion were showcased. Those interested in exploring TrueLight’s potential could attend a specialized demonstration using ROE Carbon 5 MKII LED panels, powered by Brompton’s Dynamic Calibration technology and the robust Tessera G1 receiver card.

The booth also highlighted a range of the latest hardware solutions, including the new 8K Tessera SQ200 LED video processor, which was showcased at the booth of its partner ROE Visual. This marked the continuation of the SQ200’s presence following successful showcases at NAB and InfoComm.

LDI 2024 provided an incredible opportunity to connect with industry leaders and innovators, especially in live events and broadcast, where reliability and color fidelity are paramount. We are thrilled to have presented a range of solutions that further enhance LED performance and image quality, reinforcing Brompton’s role as the industry authority in LED video processing, commented Sean Sheridan, General Manager (Americas) at Brompton.

Visitors found several interactive areas at Brompton’s booth, including a podcast studio setup with superior RGBW lighting and dynamic scenic content as a backdrop. Located near the Circle Bar, this area also served as the central space for talks, presentations, and meetings, along with ongoing demonstrations of TrueLight. A ROE BP2 advertising screen displayed an explanatory video about ST2110 and a schedule of presentations and talks. A practical demonstration screen for live events, also featuring ROE BP2 panels and a single Tessera S8 processor, provided an immersive experience for visitors, while a rotating product showcase presented generations 2 and 3, highlighting the evolution of Brompton’s solutions.

We are delighted to have brought the latest products to LDI and to have demonstrated firsthand how they support the industry’s ever-evolving needs. From award-winning concerts to immersive broadcast experiences, Brompton remains committed to delivering LED processing solutions that set new standards for visual quality and reliability in any environment, concluded Sheridan.
