In a jiffy, owing to a revolutionary plug system, the new HICON Screw&Play BNC (BNC0.8/3.7-6G-SM) and RCA phono connectors (HI-CM0.8/3.7-SM) can be installed – even by untrained users – in a matter of seconds. No extra crimping tool is required.
The connectors are simply pushed onto the stripped video cable 0.8/3.7 and fitted by hand or with the help of two wrenches (size 12 & 13 mm). Here we recommended the robust Sommer cable SC-VECTOR (600-0162), which is outstandingly suitable for the data transmission over longer distances.
The ideal solution for quickly assembling adapter cables, 75 Ω S-P/DIF / RCA audio cables and BNC video cables. Due to the solid construction with a hard gold plated pin, the HICON Screw&Play series offers a high number of mating cycles.
The individual color coding can be done by sliding the HI-UC flex rings into two grooves in the connector housing.
