Sommer cable expands its portfolio of networking solutions with the new SC-MERCATOR CAT.6a Highflex, a cable designed to deliver maximum performance in demanding installations where space and flexibility are key factors.
Thanks to its extremely small outer diameter of just 6 mm and a bending radius of less than 20 mm, the new SC-MERCATOR CAT.6a Highflex cable fits easily into narrow patch panels, data cabinets, or touring racks.
Despite its compact design, the robust PVC jacket material, combined with an S/FTP braided shielding construction and AL/PT foil shielding for each pair, guarantees complete protection against interference and ensures bandwidths of up to 500 MHz in accordance with the Cat.6a standard.

It includes highly practical features for professional use: it comes equipped with ultra-compact 25 mm RJ45 connectors and a 50 mm transparent heat-shrink tube for individual labeling. In addition, it offers the possibility of easily adding the NEUTRIK etherCON protector (NE8MX/NE8MX-B) at a later stage, further increasing robustness and service life in mobile applications.

The Cat.6a S/FTP HIGHFLEX patch cable is available in various lengths and perfectly complements Sommer cable’s existing networking product range by providing a flexible, high-performance connectivity solution for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit environments. It is also complemented by a version featuring an exceptionally durable PUR jacket. Available by the meter or as a pre-assembled cable. Free samples are available upon request.
