Shure launches SLX-D+, the new generation of its digital wireless microphone systems, delivering increased automation, control and security on the SLX-D platform while maintaining the RF performance and audio quality that have made it a benchmark solution for live events, installations, location sound and rental companies.
SLX-D+ is designed to meet the current needs of production environments where operational efficiency and reliability are critical. Thanks to its new features, the system enables more advanced supervision and an optimized workflow, especially in complex configurations or permanent installations.
Key new features of SLX-D+
Among the most notable improvements, SLX-D+ expands its tuning range up to 138 MHz, enabling greater geographical coverage (region dependent) and facilitating frequency planning in high-density RF environments.
In addition, it incorporates ShowLink® Ease, a feature that enables remote management and advanced automated functions for more efficient operation, reducing the need for manual control and allowing a more “hands-free” approach to system supervision.
Another relevant enhancement is the integration of Shure Digital Feedback Reduction DSP, designed for the automatic reduction of unwanted noise, improving stability and control in live situations or acoustically challenging environments.
In terms of security, SLX-D+ integrates AES-256 encryption in each component, providing a complete level of protection for applications where signal confidentiality is essential.
SLX-D performance remains unchanged
Shure has confirmed that SLX-D+ retains the key features that define the SLX-D platform: 24-bit digital audio, rock-solid RF performance, and the brand’s reliability for professional applications.
The system remains compatible with monitoring and control tools such as Wireless Workbench® and the mobile app for iOS and Android, enabling remote supervision and more centralized management.
SLX-D+ also maintains a wide range of rack configurations and portable solutions, along with multiple microphone options. As a complement, Shure offers optional Li-ion rechargeable batteries and charging accessories, providing real-time runtime information to simplify production management.
