From premium components to intelligent, high-performance DSP, every aspect of the Mk3 design delivers a level of excellence that professionals rely on for their most important performances and projects.
The DXR mk3 range is available in three models: DXR15, DXR12 and DXR10. These feature 15”, 12” and 10” high-durability woofers respectively, combined with 1.75” high-frequency drivers. All models are housed in lightweight, injection-moulded enclosures. In addition to reducing weight, this minimizes cabinet resonance, with optimized port positioning to reduce standing wave effects.
With a maximum output of between 132 and 134 dB SPL, the two-way bi-amped design incorporates a new high-efficiency 2000W Class D amplifier and a switched power supply for smooth, stable operation.

The integrated 96 kHz DSP incorporates Yamaha’s proprietary Advanced FIR-X Tuning technology, which optimizes phase response to achieve a clearer, more natural and distortion-free sound, while offering a range of DSP modes to suit different applications. These include FoH/Main and Monitor settings, as well as optimized factory presets and up to eight user presets. An internal accelerometer detects speaker orientation, with a switchable automatic mode for streamlined setup.
It also includes modes that automatically reduce feedback in handheld microphones and identify and adjust problematic frequencies in fixed microphones, ensuring more stable, feedback-free operation. Meanwhile, the Drive Motion Calibration function uses a proprietary DSP algorithm to ensure the speaker reproduces the input signal with greater accuracy, delivering tighter and more powerful low frequencies that exceed conventional limitations.
A high-visibility rear LCD panel with encoder enables easy mode selection and precise control of parametric EQ, delay and routing, as well as recall of user and factory presets.
The new DXS mk3 subwoofers share the powerful 96 kHz DSP, power supply and rear LCD panel design, featuring a newly developed high-efficiency 2500W Class D amplifier and long-excursion 18”, 15” or 12” woofers, along with four-inch (DXS18 mk3) or three-inch voice coils.

The DXS18, DXS15 and DXS12 models are housed in durable, acoustically optimized plywood enclosures with a scratch-resistant polyurea coating. All feature switchable D-XSUB processing to extend low-frequency reproduction down to between 38 Hz and 32 Hz.
With output levels of up to 132 and 134 dB SPL, flexible crossover settings and a cardioid mode for onstage bass management, the DXS mk3 series stands out when paired with the DXR mk3 series to deliver a seamlessly integrated sound system.
The D-Remote app for iOS/Android devices enables wireless control of all parameters in DXR mk3 and DXS mk3 systems, as well as monitoring limiting, temperature and error alerts. Up to ten devices can be connected simultaneously, with grouping functions for unified level and mute control.

The CXR mk3 and CXS mk3 series are passive versions of the DXR/DXS range, intended for installations, fixed systems and corporate applications, such as environments where access to nearby power sources is limited. Available in a parallel lineup of passive models, CXR mk3 speakers also deliver powerful sound with exceptional clarity and precision. When used with Yamaha PX and PC-D Series amplifiers or other compatible processors, they can take full advantage of dedicated processing settings.
DXR/CXR mk3 series models feature rubber-coated handles, rigging points compatible with commercial eyebolts and pole mount sockets with horizontal and seven-degree downward tilt, enabling more focused coverage and clearer sound delivery. Options include U-brackets for fixed installations, supporting both vertical and horizontal mounting, as well as covers to protect the units from scratches, dust and dirt during transport and storage, and from unexpected weather conditions in outdoor use.
All DXS/CXS mk3 subwoofers include dual handles and dual M20/35 mm pole sockets. Optional wheels and covers are also available.
