The Komodo series, with pixel pitches of 0.7, 0.9, and 1.2 mm, is the new flagship of Leyard Europe’s fine-pitch LED display range. It offers outstanding image quality and reliable performance for the most demanding indoor applications. This new solution features an impressive DCI-P3 color gamut for professional color reproduction and 1000 nits of brightness, enabling dynamic image rendering in any indoor environment.

The Komodo series, built on Megapixel’s award-winning HELIOS® LED processing platform, is compatible with the most advanced video standards and offers modular, flexible inputs that enable unlimited creativity. Developed in collaboration with Megapixel, it features LED display electronics designed to maximize the potential of the Megapixel platform and set new standards of visual excellence.
HELIOS® is a powerful and secure LED processing platform that supports 8K input and output in a compact one-rack size. With numerous improvements in video and color processing, as well as its high bandwidth, the system is ideal for a wide range of applications, including corporate environments, control rooms, video production, and private cinemas.
In addition to its 100 Gbit/s ST2110 capability—a standard developed by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) to define professional media over IP networks—the Komodo series features an upgradable design to support future standards. It can be configured according to the requirements of each application.
Optimized for the most common configurations
This new COB flagship offers various pixel pitches and panel sizes, allowing users to achieve more industry-standard resolutions and formats than with conventional LED platforms.
The Komodo series has been designed to support today’s most in-demand formats, such as 16:9 and 21:9. With the ability to create video walls from native Full HD and 4K up to ultra-wide 8K and 5K, this series provides scalable, future-ready visual performance.

Designed to deliver a premium chip-on-board experience
The Komodo series incorporates the latest advances in COB technology. These include enhanced color accuracy, higher pixel density, sharper images, and deeper blacks. Customers also benefit from exceptional durability and energy efficiency.
In addition to an advanced manufacturing process in which only uniform LEDs are sorted and paired to avoid irregularities, the Komodo series uses an alternating LED alignment. This results in better viewing angles and color uniformity, helping ensure a first-class visual experience and optimizing the inherent advantages of COB technology.
The Komodo series is the latest addition to the portfolio of the industry leader in COB displays, which was expanded in May with the DirectLight® Essential series.
