Wireless LED lighting specialist Astera positioned its booth – P300 in Hall 6 – at the 2025 ISE expo in Barcelona, right at the heart of the rental and staging section to capitalise on the crossover worlds of live shows and events and film/broadcast production.
This was the place where Astera products excelled, and the stand was designed to riff with the official QuikSpot product video, filmed at a beautiful Castle in Slovenia, and this new product – launched December 2024 – was a major focus for Astera at the expo.
QuikSpot was a highly flexible and innovative battery-powered LED lighting fixture designed to meet the demands of fast-paced environments for events and media productions, combining ease of use, accurate performance, and rapid setup for professionals who valued efficient and versatile solutions in a compact format.

This zoomable single-source spotlight drew inspiration from the efficient workflow and convenient housing of Astera’s AX5 PAR light, while taking advantage of the optical quality of Titan LED Engine's PlutoFresnel.
The QuikSpot design was optimised to save time and effort whilst prepping and operating the product, making it perfect for busy rental and production companies.
These IP65-rated, lightweight (3.5kg) luminaires delivered exceptional performance both onstage and on-set, bridging the gap between various lighting applications with ease maximizing ROI (Return On Investment).
Featuring Astera’s award-winning Titan LED Engine, QuikSpot had a 13º-60º zoom range, high colour rendering and a refined, homogenised and powerful "one-shadow" fresnel optical system, ensuring a superior RGBMA colour spectrum. Rotatable 8-way barndoors with integrated SafetyLink were available plus a host of other handy and practical accessories to boost options for up and down lighting, high colour rendering key lighting, punchy backlights and more.
Several other cool products featured on the Astera stand including LunaBulb which was also launched last year.
The IP44-rated LunaBulb was ideal for cinematographers – for on-camera practicals or to highlight faces with perfect skin tones – and was also handy for events, offering designers, organizers, and décor specialists a myriad of creative possibilities.

LunaBulb could beautifully emulate traditional incandescent light bulb effects and could be used outside, even in wet conditions, if used with an IP44-rated socket, perfect for statement lighting like festoons, or anywhere where lighting might be used to shape moods, vibes and atmospherics.
Also, there were the massively popular – and now industry standard – range of TitanTubes that built the foundations of Astera’s reputation for producing smart, sustainable and ultimately usable LED products for multiple professional entertainment and leisure lighting applications.
