Claypaky's strategy has always been innovation, based on well-defined quality, design and performance characteristics. For Claypaky, innovation is first and foremost about creating new forms of lighting, as it did when it became the first company in the world to equip its XTYLOS series lights with a proprietary RGB laser engine.

The company has introduced countless innovations over the past few years, such as its next generation of multispectrum moving heads for theatres (the RHAPSODYA and the SINFONYA): ACCUFRAMETM, TONEDOWNTM, Absolute Position control, ColorMatch in-field calibration, LINEGUARD, ACCUTUNE and COLORSTRING.
And then there are the innovations that make the extraordinary Skylos so unique: ARCTIC SHIELD, which allows the fixture to work at temperatures as low as -40°C (-40°F), HEAT SHIELD, which enables operation at very high temperatures (up to +45°C / +113°F), and SOLAR SHIELD, which protects the engine and the internal components from damage caused by exposure to sun light.
However, innovation also means creating new digital tools and platforms for our customers to help them deal with their everyday requirements, like ordering spare parts or performing maintenance. These are small touches that help our clients optimize their work and save them time and money. Last but not least, innovation also means "how" things are done: Claypaky invests heavily in the latest manufacturing methods and technologies.

Regarding sustainability, Claypaky was the first company in the lighting industry to introduce a process that measures greenhouse gas emissions, with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality.
CP GREEN - Claypaky continues progress towards a green future and obtains ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for the second consecutive year
Claypaky remains at the forefront of the Entertainment Lighting Industry with its efforts to improve its environmental performance with the "CP Green" project launched in 2022. Having been the first in its industry to adopt ISO 14064 and hence therewith a set of tools to quantify, monitor, report, and verify greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), the company has already implemented several aspects of the long-range project, which is constantly revised to make Claypaky’s sustainability strategy more effective and efficient. CP Green underlines, therefore, the ambition of Claypaky to constantly innovate also “beyond the lighting fixture itself”.

The main objective of the project is reducing Claypaky’s impact on climate change and mitigating GHG. To achieve this goal, the first and most important step is calculating GHG emissions since it is not possible to improve what is not measured. For this reason, for the second consecutive year Claypaky obtained in November 2023 the ISO 14064 certification, which calculates the impact on climate change at the organizational level for the year 2022. This study, performed with the support of Spinlife, a spin-off of the University of Padova, has been carried out with a “cradle to grave” approach analyzing all direct and indirect emissions.
This organizational carbon footprint assessment allows Claypaky to understand where the environmental hot spots are and to define concrete actions to reduce their impact on climate change. The result of this analysis will also permit updating the carbon management plan established in 2022 (created according to data of the ISO 14064 study of the year 2021) and delineating a more precise and realistic GHG emission reduction strategy.
