The official press conference of Prolight + Sound Bangkok 2026 was held on 23 March in Bangkok, bringing together around one hundred key industry stakeholders, along with government representatives, associations, and media specialised in professional audio, lighting, and events.
This strong interest reflects the continued momentum of the entertainment, events, and music market in Southeast Asia, one of the fastest-growing sectors globally. At the upcoming edition, visitors will be able to connect with more than 150 international exhibitors and over 5,000 industry professionals from across Asia, reinforcing the show’s role as a key regional platform for business, networking, and industry growth.
As Southeast Asia consolidates its position as a global hotspot for concerts, festivals, and immersive entertainment, Prolight + Sound Bangkok is strategically positioned to capitalise on this growth and accelerate industry development across the region.
The press conference opened with a high-impact immersive demonstration prepared by Elysium Immersive Club, showcasing next-generation visual, lighting, and sound technologies. This was followed by panel discussions featuring speakers from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Event Management Association (EMA), ONE Asia Ventures, PM Center, Elysium Immersive Club, and CRÈME Academy, who shared valuable insights into the development of the professional entertainment industry.
A key panel under the theme Advancing the Professional Entertainment Industry in ASEAN: Technology, Live Experience & Regional Competitiveness highlighted a shared consensus between public and private sectors: the entertainment and events industry is entering a new era driven by advanced technologies, immersive experiences, and large-scale productions. Thailand is uniquely positioned to lead this transformation, supported by strong infrastructure, a dynamic creative economy, and growing demand for world-class live experiences.
