With this new release, you'll have two Domotz Pro service plans from which to choose: Standard or Advanced. The Violet customer-facing app will be included in the Domotz Pro Standard plan for no extra fee! Advanced features like Eyes or Extended Remote Connection will be included in the Advanced plan. The Standard plan costs 1 credit per month, while the Advanced plan is 2 credits per month.
Wi-Fi Access Point Monitoring
With Wi-Fi AP Monitoring (included in Domotz Pro Advanced), you get simple, hassle-free, superior monitoring of access points and connected clients to:
- Monitor signal strength and noise level of APs by channel
- Monitor signal strength of connected clients
- Monitor access point traffic/hardware utilization
- Reboot individual access points with a tap, and more
Wi-Fi AP Monitoring launches with Ruckus support first—with many more vendors' access points being added in the future.
Extended Monitoring
Configure a Private Subnet Scan
With Private Subnet Scans (included in Domotz Pro Advanced), you can monitor a Layer 3 subnet of a VPN-connected LAN or other connected subnet. With subnet scanning, you can monitor:
- Modems and/or routers on different subnets
- Networks and network devices routed on different subnets
- Multiple sites or buildings connected via VPN
Add Single External Hostname/IP
External Hostname/IP monitoring (included in Domotz Pro Advanced) lets you monitor devices anywhere on the web, such as:
- Your own website (or another)
- An off-site server
- An external TCP service such as VoIP, FTP, etc.
Other New Features
Dummy Devices
Add a non-IP-connected device (i.e. Dummy Device) to a PDU or smart outlet to enable simple, easy power management. Support for Dummy Devices will be included in the Standard plan.
This new update will be released soon, and your account will be automatically upgraded to one of the new plans:
- Accounts with Violet will be automatically updated to a Standard account.
- Accounts with Eyes or Extended Remote Connection will be upgraded to an Advanced account with significant savings!
