San Diego Event Professionals joins dBTechnologies as a VIO production partner

dBTechnologies announces that San Diego Event Professionals has joined the dBTechnologies family as a VIO production partner in San Diego, California. Long-time dBTechnologies’ partners who use the DVA
T12, Ingenia IG2T, and Ingenia IG3T, 8 DVA S30N and 16 DVA T8s.


The company has most recently moved up to the acclaimed VIO Family with the addition of 12 VIO S218s and 16 VIO L1610s.


San Diego Event Professionals specialize in a variety of events of all sizes, from corporate and community events to houses of worship and concerts. SDEP President Don Brennan says, “We want every one of our clients that we work with to succeed -- and that’s why we use dBTechnologies”.


We are a service company that happens to do audio, visual, and lighting. We have an absolutely great team and we’re all big supporters of relationship building, adds  Jr. Project Manager, Micheal Lockhart. 


Their dBTechnologies inventory includes DVA T12s, DVA T8s, Ingenia IG2Ts and IG3Ts, VIO S218s and VIO L1610s. The IG2T and IG3T have been their corporate “go to” loudspeakers, using them nearly weekly since 2013. Around the same year, “We needed a better PA System so I purchased the T12, sight unseen, and had it delivered. It’s been our workhorse for nearly a decade until now we have expanded and upgraded to the VIO L1610s & S218s”. said Brennan. 

SDEP recently used their VIO system at NSO/Welcome Wee for Point Loma Nazarene University.


The sound and power you get from the size of the box in the VIO L1610 is incredible. One guy can pick it up and the rigging system takes one person to fly, but it sounds like a box three times its size. Also, because it’s all in one box, it simplifies our load-ins and we can control it over the Aurora Net software. We can see everything from one interface and we don’t have to search for Ips, adds Project Manager, Eric Hester.
