Amaia’s stop at Cartuja Center CITE in Seville, as part of her current tour, once again put the venue’s technical versatility to the test in a concert defined by dynamic contrasts and rich instrumentation.
The artist’s repertoire moves naturally between intimate piano passages, string arrangements, and full-band developments, requiring a system capable of delivering precision in both detail and energy.
The venue features a permanently installed Meyer Sound system consisting of 24 LEOPARD cabinets in an L/R configuration, supported by a central cluster of 8 additional units, along with flown 2100-LFC subwoofers and UPA frontfills that ensure uniform coverage across stalls and tiers. This infrastructure provides a solid and coherent foundation for large-scale productions.

Building on this fixed configuration, and addressing the specific needs of Amaia’s show, Ortiz Audio—the company responsible for sound reinforcement on this date—deployed additional systems aimed at ensuring stability and uniformity across the concert’s entire dynamic range.
Amaia live: targeted Meyer Sound reinforcement to maintain show coherence
To match the depth of the auditorium and ensure a consistent sonic experience in the furthest areas, eight additional LEOPARD systems were deployed in a delay configuration, time-aligned with the main PA. This solution preserved vocal clarity and spatial coherence even during the artist’s most delicate passages.
In the low-frequency range, six additional 2100-LFC subwoofers were incorporated, complementing the venue’s standard system. This expansion enabled controlled support during moments of greater instrumental density, adding body and stability without compromising intelligibility in more restrained passages.

The combined tuning of the fixed system and the additional reinforcement allowed the concert to maintain balance and clarity throughout the entire performance. From the most intimate moments—where voice and piano demanded maximum definition—to the most intense passages with full band and string sections, the system response followed changes in dynamics and texture without losing coherence or uniformity across the venue.
The result was a consistent sonic experience throughout the entire audience area, aligned with Amaia’s artistic vision and with the technical demands of a live performance built on nuance, contrast, and constant transitions.
