Madrid hosted the 6th Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice, a leading international event that brought together prominent representatives from the legal and academic fields.
As part of the agenda, a gala dinner was held in the iconic Glass Gallery of the Cibeles Palace, one of the city’s most distinctive and representative venues.
The technical production of the event was handled by Live Events Spain, a company specialized in the design and management of audiovisual experiences. The challenge lay in adapting a space of great architectural and aesthetic value to the requirements of a nighttime event under low-light conditions. In addition, one of the highlights of the evening was the performance by international soprano Ainhoa Arteta, whose interpretation demanded flawless audiovisual capture.

Thanks to Sony technology and the Live Events Spain team, attendees enjoyed an immersive, interruption-free experience, in line with the importance of the congress and the prestige of its participants.
A high-precision automatic tracking system and real-time transmission were implemented, ensuring maximum quality thanks to four BRC-AM7 camera units and two Sony ILME-FR7 cameras.
Technical requirements
The organization was looking for a solution that combined image quality, color consistency, and operational efficiency. After analyzing high-end PTZ cameras on the market, Live Events evaluated the performance of Sony’s PTZ automatic framing with integrated AI analysis and was fully satisfied with its precision. This feature enables accurate subject tracking with smooth, natural-looking framing, making high-quality content production easier than ever.

The integrated AI-based automatic tracking is so precise and smooth that you don’t notice any disturbance in movement. This eliminates human error and allows for greater creativity in the storytelling process, says Serkan Karaosman, camera operator at Live Events Spain.
The decision to incorporate PTZ cameras was also driven by resource optimization criteria. While handheld camcorders require one operator per unit, robotic cameras allow a single technician to control all four acquired units. In addition, these cameras are small and lightweight, making them easy to install almost anywhere, which proved ideal for this event.
Sony’s response
Sony provided a comprehensive system consisting of four BRC-AM7 units, two ILME-FR7 cameras with SELP28135 and SELP1635 lenses, two RM-IP500 controllers, and an ILME-FX6 camera equipped with SEL2470GM2 and SELP28135 lenses, used as a beauty cam.

Thanks to this configuration, Live Events Spain achieved precise and fluid automatic tracking, eliminating human error and enabling greater creativity in production. In addition, color consistency across devices simplified post-production and ensured a uniform aesthetic.
