Roland Professional A/V spotlighted the V-1-4K and its 4K solutions during InfoComm 2026. The V-1-4K is a compact video switcher with 4K 60p support that makes the transition to 4K workflows easier in today’s production environments.
In addition, Graphics Presenter Version 3.0 software and the VenuSet control panel software, both compatible with the V-1-4K, were also showcased.
Introduced in April 2026 and now shipping, the Roland V-1-4K video switcher delivers professional 4K performance in an ultra-compact form factor.
The unit features multi-channel HDMI and USB connectivity, built-in scaling, Region of Interest (ROI) support, professional audio mixing, remote control software, and more, making it an ideal solution for live events, streaming, worship venues, and presentation applications.
V-1-4K: Compact 4K and HDR video switcher for modern production needs
As 4K sources and displays become the standard across event production, corporate facilities, broadcast studios, and educational environments, users need imaging tools that deliver high-quality results without the size, cost, and complexity of traditional broadcast systems. The V-1-4K addresses this need by providing 4K performance in a portable and accessible design suitable for both novice and experienced operators.
Building on the proven workflow of Roland’s V-1 series, the V-1-4K offers 4K 60p and HDR processing in a highly compact footprint. Its all-in-one hardware design includes:
- Five HDMI 2.0 inputs and six total outputs, including HDMI, USB, and multi-view output.
- High-quality scalers on every input for seamless operation with mixed 4K and HD video sources.
- USB-C 4K streaming output for direct use with leading videoconferencing, streaming, and capture platforms.
- Multi-channel audio mixing with built-in effects and processing.
- Integrated control for a wide range of PTZ cameras.
- Remote operation through dedicated Roland control applications for macOS, Windows, and iPadOS.
This comprehensive feature set enables engineers and operators to quickly deploy the V-1-4K system for in-person events, hybrid livestreams, multi-camera studio productions, corporate meetings, worship services, and educational applications.
The V-1-4K also includes a Region of Interest (ROI) mode that allows users to crop up to four unique virtual shots from a single 4K camera source. This enables flexible single-camera production setups for panel discussions, classrooms, training spaces, and fixed installations where adding more hardware may be impractical or cost-prohibitive.
Graphics presenter version 3.0: support for 4K workflows
Roland’s companion Graphics Presenter software, widely used for real-time titles, motion graphics, lower thirds, and visual overlays, has been updated to Version 3.0 with full 4K rendering and output capabilities. When paired with the V-1-4K, it enables operators to create polished, broadcast-quality visuals without the need for a dedicated graphics workstation.
VenuSet version 1.2: simplified, customizable control for select Roland video products
VenuSet Version 1.2 (available for iPadOS, macOS, and Windows) works with the V-1-4K and other supported Roland video products, allowing users and system integrators to create customized control interfaces tailored to specific events or operator skill levels.
This approach is ideal for corporate, educational, and worship environments where non-technical staff may be responsible for managing audiovisual systems. By enabling operators to build streamlined, task-focused interfaces, VenuSet lowers the barriers to high-quality video switching and ensures consistent, reliable operation.
