Shure takes another step forward in innovation with the launch of the latest firmware update for its prestigious Axient® Digital PSM in-ear monitoring system.
This new version not only fixes bugs but also incorporates powerful features that elevate the live sound experience for professionals to the next level.
Channel expansion: more power in less space
One of the major new features is channel expansion, which allows users to optimize rack space and reduce weight, something essential for tours and demanding productions. With this update, users can enjoy up to 16 stereo audio channels with the ADTQ quad transmitter and 8 stereo audio channels with the ADTD dual transmitter. License management, available in one- and four-channel increments, is simplified through ShureCloud, ensuring total flexibility and control for engineers and sound technicians.
New transmission modes for flawless coverage
The Axient Digital Standard Transmission Mode expands possibilities by allowing Axient Digital PSM transmitters to work directly with Axient Digital wireless microphone receivers. With higher RF output power, the result is top-quality wireless audio that remains stable even at longer distances.
In addition, extended support for wideband multi-channel transmission offers new options: 4-channel wideband and 2-channel wideband, both available on the ADTD dual transmitter. This opens the door to more versatile configurations, with greater channel density and complete control over occupied bandwidth and RF power per channel.
An essential update
Axient® Digital PSM Firmware Version 1.1.14 is now available for download via the Shure Update Utility. With it, Shure strengthens its commitment to technological excellence and reliability, providing professionals with a tool that ensures consistency, stability, and flawless performance in any scenario.
With this update, Shure expands the possibilities of professional audio, consolidating Axient® Digital PSM as the undisputed benchmark in in-ear monitoring for tours, festivals, and major productions.
