As part of NAMM 2026, the company has unveiled the new SLX-D+ Wireless Microphone Systems, the next evolution of its renowned SLX-D platform, designed to deliver a wireless audio system that simplifies day-to-day operation with advanced automation, greater remote control, and an expanded set of features. This new solution is aimed at both audio professionals and experienced users, for applications such as live performance, fixed installations, rental, houses of worship, education, content creation, ENG, broadcast, and video production.
With SLX-D+, Shure combines its high-performance wireless engineering with optimized management that supports work in demanding environments. The system introduces key improvements in flexibility, reliability, security, and monitoring, making wireless audio management more intuitive and more resilient to common RF challenges.

Wide tuning for simpler deployment
One of the key advancements of SLX-D+ is its expanded tuning range of up to 138 MHz across all components, enabling smoother deployment in different environments and reducing inventory complexity by minimizing the need for multiple product variants. In addition, depending on the region, it supports operation of up to 14 simultaneous systems in 8 MHz TV bands.
ShowLink® Ease: effortless remote control
SLX-D+ incorporates ShowLink® Ease, a technology inspired by ShowLink® in Axient Digital that enables real-time, two-way communication between the receiver and the transmitter. Once synced, the transmitter remains paired with the receiver every time it is powered on, allowing automated RF configuration and remote adjustment of parameters such as:
- Changing frequency once an available frequency is identified
- Adjusting transmitter gain
- Locking and unlocking controls
- Transmitter firmware updates
Automatic interference management and feedback reduction
To enhance operational continuity, SLX-D+ can automatically search for a new clean frequency in the event of interference and apply it to both the receiver and the transmitter without user intervention, keeping the system stable and running.
In addition, it integrates Digital Feedback Reduction (DFR) and DSP processing for automatic feedback suppression and unwanted noise reduction, delivering clearer, more consistent sound even in challenging conditions.
Comprehensive security and new receiver options
SLX-D+ features AES-256 encryption on each component to ensure secure communications. It also expands hardware options with the addition of the SLXD4D+ dual receiver, now available in a half-rack (½ rack) format, enabling more compact and flexible configurations.
What remains: SLX-D quality and monitoring tools
SLX-D+ maintains the features that have made SLX-D a reference platform, including:
- 24-bit digital audio
- Rock-solid RF performance and Shure reliability
- Compatibility with Wireless Workbench® and the mobile app for iOS and Android
In this evolution, Shure strengthens mobile management through WWB Mobile, enabling remote monitoring and control via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, with access to parameters such as gain, transmitter locks, battery status, scans and frequency changes, and audio metering.
More scalability: RF cascading and Audio Summing
SLX-D+ adds features designed for multichannel systems and more complex production environments. RF cascading allows receivers to be linked to build configurations of up to twelve channels without additional accessories. Meanwhile, the Audio Summing function enables levels to be combined and mixed across between one and four outputs, simplifying output management and improving integration with mixing consoles.
Availability
The new SLX-D+ will be available in February 2026, with selected configurations for different applications, including bodypack systems and a portable system option. SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and charging accessories are sold separately.
