FaitalPRO 2026 focuses on power, control, and reliability in every transducer

FaitalPRO continues to push the boundaries of professional audio with its latest generation of loudspeakers, combining precision engineering and carefully selected materials to deliver consistent performance across the range.

The new line of professional loudspeakers has been presented at The NAMM Show in Anaheim and at ISE Barcelona, generating significant interest and once again confirming the strong appeal of the brand’s innovative approach to engineering and design. The products once again reflect a total commitment to reliable solutions and a new philosophy focused on cutting-edge acoustic performance.

The highlight of the new range is undoubtedly the subwoofer series. The 18-inch (18XL1700) and 15-inch (15XL2400) models represent the latest innovations, while the 21-inch model (21XL3000) serves as the flagship, paving the way for a new generation of subwoofers. These transducers have been designed to deliver deep, controlled bass, maintaining stability even under high power demands and ensuring consistent performance in professional audio applications.

Leading the range, the 21XL3000 is a 21-inch subwoofer featuring an exceptional 165 mm (6.50 in) dual-layer aluminum voice coil, an FEA-optimized neodymium motor, and a demodulation ring. With a force factor (BL) of 43 N/A, it delivers 3000 W AES (6000 W MAX), ensuring precise motor control and stable, reliable low-frequency performance, even during prolonged high-power operation.

The new 18XL1700 stands out for its innovative magnetic assembly, enabling it to exceed the typical performance of 18-inch subwoofers with conventional 100 mm (4 in) voice coils. Its high force factor of 30.5 N/A, combined with a dual-layer voice coil, results in efficient and fast bass response, suitable for both touring systems and fixed installations where high performance is required.

The 15XL2400, meanwhile, demonstrates how a 15-inch subwoofer can achieve output levels and performance typically associated with larger designs. Its motor is exceptionally powerful for this size, offering 2200 W AES (4400 W MAX), a 140 mm (5.5 in) aluminum voice coil, and an FEA-optimized magnet. This design provides wide dynamic headroom, allowing the transducer to handle peaks with ease while maintaining defined and articulate bass. The result is a combination of punch, efficiency, and clarity, confirming that high performance can also be achieved in a more compact format.

The three subwoofers share a high-excursion design and a demodulation system that ensure precise cone control and minimal distortion, reinforcing reliability and performance under demanding working conditions.

In the mid and low-frequency range, the new 6-inch midrange driver (6PR130) and the new 8-inch midwoofer (8PR150) stand out for their precise and dynamic performance. The 6PR130 delivers focused and well-defined midrange reproduction thanks to a lightweight aluminum voice coil, a flat rubber surround, and optimized rigid suspensions, with a power handling of 200 W AES (400 W MAX) and a sensitivity of 101 dB. The 8PR150 features a pulp cone reinforced with aramid fiber and a high-quality neodymium magnet, providing clear and well-defined mid-low frequencies, with a nominal power rating of 250 W AES (500 W MAX) and a sensitivity of 94 dB. Both models once again incorporate a demodulation system to minimize distortion, ensuring precise and efficient performance in both compact line arrays and larger multi-way systems.

In the high-frequency range, the new 1-inch compression drivers have been designed to excel in professional-level clarity. The HF1006 combines an annular diaphragm with a neodymium motor, offering a sensitivity of 110 dB and a power handling of 60 W AES (120 W MAX). The HF1000T, by contrast, incorporates a titanium dome diaphragm and a slightly larger neodymium motor, with a sensitivity of 108 dB and a power handling of 70 W AES (140 W MAX). Both transducers feature optimized crossover points, allowing seamless integration into different configurations while maintaining coherence and a balanced frequency response. They deliver clear and precise highs, with predictable coverage and efficient power management.

Last but not least, the 5HX220 coaxial transducer integrates low- and high-frequency performance into a compact unit. Its 5-inch low-frequency section with neodymium magnet incorporates a 37 mm (1.46 in) aluminum voice coil and a power handling of 150 W AES (300 W MAX), delivering controlled and efficient mid-bass. The high-frequency section combines a 37 mm (1.46 in) aluminum voice coil with a ketone polymer dome and a power handling of 30 W AES (60 W MAX), complementing the low-frequency section with smooth and articulate highs, precise transient response, and consistent dispersion. This integration ensures coherent output across the entire frequency spectrum, making the 5HX220 an ideal solution for small-format installations, single-source systems, or any application where clarity and compactness are essential.

Like all models in the FaitalPRO catalog, the new range has been designed to deliver reliable operation in a wide variety of environmental conditions, ensuring stable performance and consistent sound quality in any setting.

As a complement to its established product line, Faital’s R&D department continues to explore the future of professional audio through advanced and sustainable technologies. Current research includes the development of two woofer prototypes featuring rare-earth-free magnetic fields. More specifically, they incorporate iron nitride magnets developed by Niron Magnetics.

These transducers are part of an ongoing effort to integrate sustainable solutions into professional audio applications without compromising performance. Both models employ magnetic circuits based on Faital’s patented Kaiten system, enabling full scalability and precise optimization for uniform magnetic field distribution.

The design is further enhanced by natural fiber cones reinforced with jute, offering smooth frequency response and precise cone breakup control. This research reflects Faital’s commitment to innovation, demonstrating how acoustic performance, technological progress, and environmental responsibility can evolve together while meeting the standards of professional audio.
