ADX3 is ideal for television audio professionals and outdoor sound applications, offering a standard transmitter that allows real-time remote control of key parameters.

ADX3 transforms any XLR-terminated microphone into an advanced portable Axient Digital ADX series wireless microphone, providing the same transparent audio quality, RF performance, and wide tuning as the AD3, with the added Shure proprietary ShowLink technology.
Whether the microphone and ADX3 are in the hands of a reporter or suspended above an actor with a shotgun, ShowLink enables comprehensive and real-time control of all transmitter parameters, including interference prevention, through a robust 2.4 GHz wireless diversity connection, directly from the comfort of the receiver on a cart, bag, camera, or truck.
Seamless integration with Axient Digital and Wireless Workbench 7
The ADX3's compatibility with Wireless Workbench® allows efficient control and setup, optimal spectrum management, and frequency coordination. With real-time monitoring through the award-winning AD600 Spectrum Manager, sound engineers can neutralize RF interference by manually switching the signal to a clean backup frequency or programming the system to do so automatically. Additionally, the ADX3 seamlessly integrates with the rack-mounted Axient Digital AD4D and AD4Q receivers as well as the award-winning Cinema Audio Society portable dual-channel ADX5D receiver.
Robust construction, maximum signal stability, and convenient recharging
ADX3 features a robust, dust, and moisture-resistant metal structure, as well as an OLED screen with an easy-to-navigate menu. The device's patented locking mechanism ensures a secure and flawless connection that easily attaches to handheld and shotgun microphones, enhancing mobility during broadcasts and on film and television sets.
The selectable modulation modes of ADX3 optimize spectral efficiency performance. Users can select high-density mode to dramatically increase the maximum system channel count or run ADX3 in standard mode for optimal low-latency coverage. Additionally, the ADX3 features automatic input staging and equips users with 256-bit AES encryption for secure transmission. With a line-of-sight operating range of 100 meters (300 feet), users can be confident they will experience maximum signal stability and clear digital audio that sounds like the wired version.
The ADX3 includes two rechargeable lithium-ion SB900 batteries, each providing up to six and a half hours of continuous use, precision metering, and zero memory effect. The SB900 battery can be charged via a USB-C port. Alternatively, the transmitter can be externally powered via USB-C or with two AA batteries.

The new ADX3 will be available soon at authorized Shure dealers. The package includes the plug-on transmitter, two SB900 batteries, USB-A to USB-C cable, belt/ bag clip, and a zippered pouch for storage.
