Most dynamic microphones are designed with a single transducer, the microphone component that converts sound into an electrical signal. However, breaking the established mold, Shure's innovative Revonic technology implements two precisely calibrated transducers.
These transducers work together to provide a higher level of acoustic optimization, as they maximize certain frequencies and minimize unwanted noise, particularly handling noise and mechanical vibrations. Integrated signal processing achieves a higher output level than traditional single-transducer designs, rendering the use of traditional pneumatic shock-mount systems and the laborious task of corrective audio editing unnecessary.

XLR dynamic vocal microphones and Nexadyne wireless capsules are now available in cardioid pattern (NXN8/C) and supercardioid pattern (NXN8/S) models. Nexadyne capsules will be available this summer in kit format along with Shure's digital wireless ecosystems, such as Axient Digital, ULX-D, QLX-D, and SLX-D.
Nexadyne wired microphones are available in black finish. Nexadyne wireless capsules are available in black and nickel finishes.
