PK Sound has welcomed Backstage PA to the PK Global Alliance following the company’s investment in a T8 robotic line array system. Backstage has wasted no time leveraging PK’s patented multi-axis robotic technology to mechanically optimize the sound field across a wide variety of live and broadcast events.

Backstage PA’s initial investment in PK Sound includes 32 T8 robotic line source modules, 20 T18 intelligent subwoofers, four Tx26 intelligent point source modules, and one SC1 Signal Cell, which unifies signal and network distribution in a modular, globally standardized format. The sale was managed by Adagio Pro Italy, the Italian subsidiary of PK Sound’s Southern European distribution partner, Adagio Pro.
PK Sound’s robotic line array systems offer precise mechanical control of acoustic coverage, both remotely and in real time. This includes an unprecedented 0.1° of precision in the vertical angles between modules and variable horizontal coverage from 60° to 120°, in both symmetric and asymmetric configurations.
