SBA Radical Sound has been responsible for providing the audio infrastructure for more than a decade for the talent show The Voice, one of the longest-running, most popular, and highest-rated programs on national television.
SBA's relationship with The Voice, originally from the Netherlands and part of the international franchise The Voice, began in 2013 with the second season of The Voice Adults when the format's producer in Spain and the network holding the broadcast rights at the time requested their services after the first edition. This collaboration extended to The Voice Kids, which launched its first season that same year, initiating a prolific 11-year relationship with 10 editions of The Voice Adults and The Voice Kids, as well as three of The Voice Senior and one of The Voice All Stars.
The sound system for a talent show of the magnitude of The Voice in all its variations posed a new professional challenge for SBA, who did not hesitate to allocate a large package of technical resources to ensure the best solution and response to the countless situations that a program combining the energy of a live concert with the additional requirements of prime-time broadcasting can present.
This package includes six sound controls, more than 100 speakers in the studio, and over 100 wireless frequencies operating simultaneously, leading SBA to always rely on the most reliable and highest quality brands on the market. SBA dedicates a large part of its resources to R&D and is a pioneer in the methods of applying the latest technology in the market.
Shure was at that time, and continues to be today after a long and successful journey with the brand, the basis of SBA's development and an indisputable piece of this perfect machinery. Their systems have been essential in providing service in such a powerful production that demands such high standards of quality.
As stated by Víctor Ondaro, Head of the SBA Sound Department, "for us, Shure is a benchmark brand in the sector with the highest level of quality and reliability on the market".
Over the past decade, the evolution of Shure systems and their implementation in The Voice have gone hand in hand, leading to the current use of Axient Digital wireless microphone systems and PSM 1000 in-ear monitoring systems.

The performance and reliability offered by all of Shure's tools (AXT600, ShowLink, Workbench, etc.) make them the solutions we continue to choose for a format like 'The Voice', which ends with live shows where you can't afford to make any mistakes, added Víctor.
In addition to this deployment, The Voice requires extensive resources in highly qualified technical personnel. In Víctor's words, "a perfectly tuned machine composed of more than 20 technicians performs a very complex job with exquisite professionalism and education. The outstanding results solve the daily challenges posed by a live format".
Víctor also took the opportunity to highlight the "smooth" relationship between SBA and EARPRO&EES.
Whenever we have had to tackle a technically demanding project, their team has collaborated with us and provided the necessary devices to face the challenges proposed by the producers.
