Sound technician Asier González is opting for the Shure ADX5D dual-channel portable wireless receiver in the highly anticipated new Prime Video series Reina Roja, an adaptation of the first installment of Juan Gómez-Jurado's successful trilogy of novels.
Bilbao-born director Koldo Serra, known for his work in, among others, La Casa de Papel, is in charge of directing this fiction, which has recently finished filming after 24 weeks of shooting at various iconic locations in Madrid.
Serra and Asier González, friends in the profession, have once again come together in Reina Roja, having previously worked together on the director's early short films and numerous successful projects, such as the film Gernika.
Born in Getxo (Vizcaya), Asier completed his audiovisual training in both Guipúzcoa and Cuba, eventually settling in Madrid. Since then, he has worked on the sound for more than 10 films and countless television series. One of his recent projects, the feature film Cinco Lobitos, directed by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, earned him a nomination for Best Sound at the last edition of the Goya Awards.
Working with cutting-edge technology and investing in the best equipment has always been crucial in Asier's work. Shure has always been on his radar in this regard.

This was further reinforced by the fact that Reina Roja required demanding filming with rarely repeated locations, so Asier needed portability and lightweight standalone receivers.

I debuted it with 'Reina Roja,' and I couldn't be happier with the sound quality and the stability and range of the signal. I will undoubtedly expand my Axient Digital equipment for future projects.
Awaiting the release date, Reina Roja will undoubtedly serve as a magnificent showcase for Shure's advanced wireless broadcast solutions.
