The new BNC CC906 connector is capable of working with 12G-SDI 4K-UHD signals. It joins the Emelec VíasCom CC900 family of connectors, specially designed for cables capable of working with 4K signals at up to 60 frames per second.
This BNC CC906 connector has been designed to pair with the SDI video cable Q11-3005N, an ideal cable-connector combination for use in short patch-like lengths due to the small size and flexibility of this cable.
Main features
- 4K-UHD: Designed to work with ultra-high-definition 4K-UHD SDI signals, offering perfect performance at frequencies up to 12 GHz (12G-SDI).
- High-Quality Materials: Made from brass (an alloy of zinc and copper), with nickel-plated finishes and gold-plated body and pins. Thanks to these materials, the connector offers attenuation and return loss lower than its zinc counterparts.
- CNC Machines: The use of these machines in the construction of the connector provides robustness, uniformity, and prevents small impurities that could negatively affect its performance.
- Custom-Made: The CC906 connector is custom-designed for the digital video cable Q11-3005N. This provides the assembled cable with a uniform characteristic impedance of 75Ω across the full range of working frequencies, maximizing its capabilities.
